85' hot air car here. I am getting conflicting opinions on this. So................
DO I change and hotwire the fuel pump on my 85 like the 86/7 ???
Have been told by a buddy that on the older ones he didn't think it was needed. Another tells me, lets do it. Just got the car and I want to have some fun with it. NOT looking for a all out racecar. Just a somewhat quick street driven car that might show up at the track once or twice a year. I have a racecar I am working on. DON'T need two of them haha. I want a driver with A/C and creature comforts. And maybe something I can set the Mrs. in if she wants. I don't think high 13's would be too outa line would they ? Car has been 14.80 at Bandimere already. Altitude Challenged here by the way LMAO. We found some stuff that was wrong already. And we did some of the basic tune up stuff.
Quick show of hands, change it/hotwire it or no ? I have the pump on the bench ready to go in as soon as the fuel is pumped out. Thanks.
