fuel pump not coming on i need to know what all controls the fuel pump

start with the fuel pump relay.. after that you can check the oil pressure switch...

Can the oil pressure switch keep the fuel pump from running? Mine is doing the same thing. The car had been sitting up for a few years when I bought it. It turns over fine and will start briefly if I pour gas in the intake but I don't hear the pump running. Checked the relay and fuse and both are good. Help please.

No. You can disconnect the swith, and the pump will still run, "IF" everthing is working.
