I am sure once you have the motor and can post more info on it people will chime in but until everyone knows what the motor has had done you won't get much info.

External fuel pump. External fuel pressure regulator. Champion Fuel Rails. 80lb injectors. Stock fuel tank with a sump. Big fuel lines and return line. That will feed 9's. That's the extreme setup. Bet you don't have fuel problems.

Yep sell your tank to someone on the malibu racing site fuel pump and all. Pick a new na tank up weld a sump on it. #8 an front to back. Only reason I say to sell your tank is that people look for oe fuel injected tanks for conversion because of the baffles. and if you add a sump the baffle will most likely be ruined or useless for your situation.

I wouldn’t get all crazy with the tank if you’re going to run gas. Now if you’re going to run e-85 then that’s different then yes an external pump may be needed and then you may want to just get a fuel cell in the trunk. Now for gas I would just use one of those new racetronics double pumper set ups with -8 to a speedway filter to the fuel rails. Now here you have some options you can either get some aftermarket rails or mod your stock ones if you can weld or have a friend that can do it for you If it was me I like the look of the aluminum rails so I would get a set of those form champion or one of the guys that do custom ones on here. If you want to save some coin mod your stock rails there are 2 ways to do this one is to replace the stock feed with a -8 fitting and for the return ether replace the shrader valve with a-8 or -6 fitting and run an external regulator or get one of the guys on here that makes the adaptor to run an external regulator off the stock regulator fitting. Or if I was going to mod a stock rail I would weld a -8 fitting on the back under the coil pack to feed the rails and then weld a -6 in place of the feed and the shrader valve then duel feed an external regulator, or feed with duel -6 and put the return off the back ether way would work. And since I brought up external regulators I know most guys go with the big brand name guys but I use the one Kerbin sells it’s awesome and you can’t beat the price tag on it. For house I just bought all Teflon house from anfittingsdirect . com run -8 feed to now for injectors if running gas 80s and a razor alky kit will do the trick , that’s more then what Grumpy has on Melissa’s car and it’s in the 9s. They run a single pump and 60s with alky on that car and it makes some high 9 runs.
My car is on e-85 I don’t plan on ever going much past low 11s high 10s and I’m sure I can handle the fuel for high 10s my new fuel system is a racetronixs sender with AN fittings a single DW pump and a boosta pump it then goes -8 to -6 and duel feeds a set of custom made fuel rails then duel feeds with -6 to a kerbin external regulator and I’m running 80 for injectors. If the car ever gets out of the paint booth maybe I’ll get to see how far I can push it this year.
