I've been renting a house for about a year now. Just in the past couple months, my girlfriend has pretty much moved in and brought her cat with her. It's a nice cat I guess. Pretty lazy. It just lays around all day.
Well, the landlords who are also nice people but don't live in the state decide that since its been a year, they wanted to look at the house. They have their realtors come over. One of them I had met before, the other is this woman that seemed pretty uptight.
She's walking around the house, and of course, the house is in perfect condition. I almost have it ready for a field day inspection ( weekly barracks inspections in the Marine Corps I had to go through for 5 years). That's how clean it is. You can almost do a white glove.
The cat decides to come out of hiding and greet this woman. I really should have put it outside, but whatever. She starts kind of lecturing me about how horrible cats are. Mind you, this cat barely moves at all during the day and is well behaved. She looks around the house and then looks in the spare bathroom tub. We have the cat litter box in there. She then walks out of the bathroom and says something like "you'll probably clean that after we leave"
I'm thinking that the cat kicked around some cat litter and that's all. They eventually leave.
A little while later I check out this supposed mess in the tub expecting to find nothing.
But no, it turns out the cat decided to take not one, but TWO MASSIVE SOGGY CRAPS ON THE TUB FLOOR.
I was so embarrassed I want/wanted to kill the cat.
Of course, this is the first time the cat has ever done this. It was almost like it sensed visitors were coming and wanted to get some payback for me playing angry dog sounds over the computer speakers a week back (not so nice but it was good for a quick laugh)
