funny idle

1987 bone stock GN .. has been drove off and on for 10 years..... idling up to 3200 then coming down to 1000 when cold...... if you drive it cut it off then start back up it will idle to 1300 then down to 900 1000.... put a new MAF sensor on... ( aftermarket) set TPS at .44 fuel at 43 psi line off..... O2's are at 730 WOT 3rd gear...... not sure what to do now? bad MAF? fuel pump? chip? (stock)

i would pull the pipe off and clean the t body and IAC valve, then monitor the IAC valve counts... might have to reset the minimum air rate. Does it always idle up to 3200rpm when cold?

no vac leaks .... not sure I will check that

t body very clean.... I will look at IAC..... it idled higher than that until I fixed the intake manifold gasket .... but yes that high when cold then comes down

Iac is at zero when warm. Where should I be?
