Just adding a little. Having the shaft pre-freed made my job easy a second time. Had to adjust the steering wheel because it wasn't straight. Pulled the bottom part off the rack and shortened it while installed, got the wheel straight, and reinstalled. Super easy. Install required no notching or customization. Straight up drop in. Awesome part, great steering feel.
