Ok guys help time, I have searched the previous threads and read them all with no luck yet....my gas gauge is stuck at 3/4 full all the time with it running or not...here is what I have done so far...Brand new gas tank..new sending unit (correct 155 unit for turbo cars). had tank out 3 times to double check no bent float and screen is not in the way...checked ohms getting 91.8 at tank harness and when gauges pulled out getting the same reading in dash cluster at prongs...put in 2 diff gauges same thing they go up to 3/4s full and sit there....could there be a problem with the circut plug in that seats itself when cluster is installed.?????any help or suggestions...thanks...working on an 86 Gn by the way...Darren:confused:

Although I don't know the answer, just to provide some help, keep in mind that the gauge is reading the resistance of ground. That would make me think you have a partial short to ground somewhere between the sending unit and the gauge [or maybe the reference ground on the gauge broke?]
