This sounds like agreat job for trump, carnival barker on reality tv. Besides he sucks at the one he has.

Probably pay more than the $1 a year he's making now:)

Why ruin a thread with political BS?!... I wonder why he left.

He was the brains behind the fabrication, Rawlings has no skills, just $

The guys who have the skills to build, need to understand...

Without someone with the $$$'s to pay for you to build... You will have to get a regular job like most everyone else.

Back in the 70's I knew a guy who really was a good wrench turner. He got sick of working for someone else so he started his own garage. It didn't take too long before he was out of business. Good mechanics aren't always good business people.

The show has been on for how many years ? I would venture to say he has the money by now..

Bingo!
Just because you are a good technician does not mean you will make money in your own business. Better chance at making money if you are a bad tech but good at business.

Now this is pure conjecture, but I've heard he's going to be a part (and instant leader) of the Misfit Garage now.

Aaron never had a money stake or ownership in Rawlings' business so all he got was his pay from Rawlings and Discovery. Richard gets all the money from the side businesses that popped up around the show. The bars, the merchandising, the endorsements and he will probably get the lions share of the syndication money too, when that happens. And it will.

As an owner at Misfit, Aaron will get to share in the money from all of those things he was not a part of on Gas Monkey.

It's all about the bottom line... money!

Misfits are just one of Richard's other pet projects. Look at the credits at the end of a Misfits episode. Producer: Richard Rawlings.

They are all still connected in one way or another.

Do the Misfits still have a show?

I'm guessing that Richard probably made more money from Dodge commercials, than from Discovery. Of course... One lead to another... And so on...

And Aaron going there, doesn't that make good or even better TV ratings? This move is all about TV.

I hope Aaron gets his own show. He's a great car builder, Richard is a douche.
