gas puddle

My TTA was having an issue starting today, i held the throttle down and cranked it for about 30 sec and it started finally and ran fine. I then noticed a gasoline puddle that came out of the exhaust. Maybe I have a leaky injector and the pressurized fuel rail ran into the engine? Anything else could cause this?

That puddle was probably water. Moisture accumulates in the exhaust. I think if you had that much gas getinto the exhaust, you would never get it started. It may have smelled a little like gas, if the car was running a bit rich since it was cold.
