Spring is here. And the weather has been dicey. Several track dates have already been rescheduled. But as we all know, the weather always gets better.
The club will likely schedule a track night for sometime in late May.
Look for a club newsletter coming out soon! We need your articles for contribution.

Real Easter Car Show
Lower Muny Parking Lot, Forest Park, St. Louis
Awards @ 2:30pm
Pre-registration is long closed. If you are planning to show at this event, contact me about a meeting place. We will try to enter the event together and park together. Note that there is a Concours d'Elegance show for restored / older cars on the upper lot at the same time.
April 19, 10am-4:30pm - Ranken Technical College Car Show - 4431 Finney Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63113
Not a formal club event. But as this is the only technical college with an automotive program in the area, we are recommending it. They should be having runs on their dyno, which will likely cost $50 per pull.
April 25, 10a-3p - Dyno rental @ Mid Coast Performance 4529 Towne Ct. , St Charles, MO 63304
Mid Coast Performance-Dyno Tuning
This will be our April "meeting" event as well. The dyno will be available for use by Gateway BPE members ONLY! Cost for three pulls is $45.
Please contact me if planning to make dyno runs!
Meeting portion starts at noon. Lunch (pizza and drinks) for all club members, whether making pulls or not, will be provided by the club at 1pm. We ask that all non-members contribute $5 for lunch.

May gets into the busy season for Buick fans. This particular weekend has the NHRA in town, the GSCA GS Nationals are coming up, and Mother’s Day is on our normal meeting Sunday.
May 7, 7p-10p – Gateway Raceway Drag Racing School, FREE
For the 13th year, GIR offers a FREE drag racing school comprised of five seminars covering every facet of street car drag racing and bracket racing. The classes are open to every racer, crew member, spouse, child, significant other, friend of a friend, or housepet. School is in session the first Thursday of every month May through Sept.
