Hey,

I have seen some TR's out there with a couple gauges on the hood.. Like Fuel Pressure or oil psi.. Anyone doing this? I would like to but concerned about the inclimate weather.. I would like to do a tach and/or a FP Gauge.. So my Question is who makes a waterproof gauge? I think I can check with some marine suppliers.. But any input is appreciated..

THanks!

I run the K-B hood-mounted fuel pressure gauge year round with no problems. The worst I get is a little condensation after washing it or when the weather makes the windows fog up. I have had no problems with it so far, well except when my line layed on the alternator while the car was running and had a hole cut in the line.:D A new line and some re-routing and all is well. As for the tach I placed mine on the corner of the dash, right behind the inspection sticker. I run the 3 3/4" street tach by AutoMeter. Since my car has the digital dash it didn't come with a tach so I had to get something. It looks good beside the digital air/fuel gauge and boost gauge set-up.

I always keep a sandwich baggie and a rubber band in the car
to cover my FP gauge in case of rain.
I've never seen waterproof gauges but I'm sure someone
makes them.

Autometer pro comp boost and procomp 0-100psi fuel press both track together when your in the boost.
