Gear shift handle

Need to replace my handle on my 87. Have the new one. How hard is it to replace? Any help would be great.

Its a u shaped pin in the back( look like a stapler) of the handle. Pull it out and reinstall

Very, very easy.....go gentle with it....do what mr84ss said.
