ok I was just wondering how gears and ratios work
I know when people dyno their cars they usually dyno it in 3rd gear cause its 1:1 correct?
so what do the gear ratios from the first and 2nd gears do that would change the outcome?
should I assume that since first gear is 2.74 and not 1 like 3rd that it has 2.74 time the torque in first gear?
trust before anyone says it I know you cant have more horsepower but I do know you can get more torque for gears
so I was wondering how this actually works?
