Ok, sorry for asking such a cherry question but, Im currently in the process of replacing my daily driver with another charge air buick. I would LOVE it to be another g body, but i cant use a G as a daily driver, cuz i care soo much for them, that i wouldnt be able to actually drive it. i would get nervous when it rains, would have to park waayy in back when going shopping due to door dings etc etc.... I cant do this. I need a non g body, but still want it to be a buick of some sort. would prefer an older non g body t type, but that would be pretty much impossible. I may build my own though. So heres my questions..
1. were there super charged 3.8 litres in 88/89?
2. how hard are they to transplant into 87-90 N/A buicks?
3. how easy is it to make an older fwd N/A 3.8 litre zippy?
I am going to either buy a newer supercharged 3.8 buick, or, just an N/A t type lesabre, somerset, or skylark, or, throw a first gen supercharged 3.8 into an 88-89 lesabre and do my own 'blackout trim' package on her.. who knows... just exploring my options as of now. Thanks in advance.
