I am just getting my car running.
I have a tt 5.6 chip and a Gen 2 translator with a 3.5 LT1 maf.

I was chasing my tail all night trying to figure out why the pcm is reading the (MAT/IAT) and its at 279 degrees.Unplug the translator and its normal.

Why is that?

The gen 2 puts a voltage out on the intake air temp input, to adjust WOT timing when using a extender extreme chip. THe TT chip doesn;t use the air temp input so you can just ignore it. Or disconnect the air temp wire from the GEN 2. What your seeing is normal

Well this really sucks!!!
I spent the money on a brand new sensor and had to install 2 bungs in my pipe because I screw up and installed the wrong size....now I find out I dont even need it.

All you have to do is unplug the input on the gen 2 to the ecm tan wire i think, and you can read your IAT's normally for data logging. If you upgrade to the translator pro or SD chip you will need the IAT sensor though
