HI im new to the turbo buick community i own a 87' GN
i live in Las Vegas, ive got almost basic bolts on (terry houston down pipe, bluetop 36# injectors, gss 307 fuel pump hot wired
torque strap, hooker 2 1/2 dual exhaust with cut out from terry houston, boxed lower controll arms with airbags on both sides,
a pinion snubber accufab adjs fuel reg.and a kenne bell air kit)
with all this my best et. was 13.9 at 96.3 mph with 5 pounds of the line and runnig about 20lbs. total ive got drag radials 108 chip maker???? came with the car 15 psi on right air bag and 7 on left 100 octane gas and cap of the th cut out is there something wrong??????help
2. looking for bigger turbo one that runs good in the track but not as much turbo lag in street hpefully looking at a turbo that holds strong running mid 10 sec car in the future so i would not be buying stuff that i dont need and a frnt mount intercooler wich ones would you guys recomend on turbo and intercooler and if so is anyone selling one or nows someone????
3.what kind of slick's do you recomend and do they need tubes
plz help need a strong running car any ideas and hint's would be very helpful

You have gobs of good parts to take more than a second off your ET and pack on an easy 10mph right now.

Sounds like the car is real rich. I didn't see adj FP regulator on your list but I'm sure you have one. Where's it set now? Is there a label on your chip to identify it with? A 108 chip should have 108 fuel or slightly better; you may be getting knock retard. A scantool like a Scanmaster or even a Casper's Knock Gauge would come in real handy to monitor that. I'd work on maxxing out what you currently have. If you go big on turbo, you're gonna need a converter too, and probably injectors.

Plenty of front mount ICs out there, just know that LasVegas heat will take it's toll sooner or later and cooling system upgrades are next.

Finally, for slicks, I hear Phoenix are the stickiest but they are several bucks. Go for 28" tall if you can get them. I fit a 28x11" slick just inside the wheellips on a 15x8.5 wheel with 3.5 backspacing. No rubbing either.

hey wicked nice to see someone on here from Vegas..Sounds like you need a scan tool to check your tuning.I just bought one but have not used it yet,have to put my new turbo (te-44) on car and get it back on the road (its been in storage since 1998).What part of town you live around,Im in Green Valley area.Id be willing to let you use it to check your tune if needed.Let me know.
