I emailed Razor but its saturday so I do not expect him to be hanging around his computer all day long. I just got the kit installed and its knocking at only 18psi.

I was running 16psi without the kit no problem, so it has to be that the kits not pushing anything into the uppipe.

I am running straight meth, have the gain knob on 10 now, test button lights up the on led and so does 6psi of boost, bottle is full of meth and yet knock at 18psi??

I have the pump mounted off the driver side bumper bracket and its upside down with the hoses being on the bottom, the nozzle is on the bottom of the FMIC uppipe right after the lower IC hose.

I hit the test button and its not bogging the car. Do you guys hold the test button for a long time or will it bog asap on even a fast push?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, tons of car shows going on this weekend and I would like to go and have this thing represent at 100%.

Hold the test till the car bogs and report back.Doesnt sound like the pump is working.

Is the Mitsubishi bottle higher than the pump? Maybe its got an air pocket trapped in the lines.

Crank the blue knob fully open and hit the test button with the car running till it bogs. Once it sputters/bogs.. you'll be ready to go.

I emailed ya some tips..

Pump works, I hit it with 12volts and heard it pushing.

Its got to be the brain. Led lights up at 6psi, pump works, full bottle and yet knock at 18psi when the car can run 16psi no KR.

Worse yet, with the brain out of the car with nothing getting power and the car stubbles while getting into boost. This car ran great before I put this kit in and now its stalling on the road 5 seconds from my driveway. :(

Brain is going back next day air, I need to drive this car asap. It spent 3 years in a paint shop, I am through dealing with down time due to mods.

The Buick kit "as is" sold has been troublefree. A different line/tank setup was used on your car. And is whats in question.

My belief is the issue stems from either line routing to the pump or even possible debris in the process of dealing the tank that could have gotten into the pump.

If the power injection bulb illuminates, then the controller is doing its job. If the lines are routed in a way thats created an air pocket.. then it will need to be purged. I dont know if this is an issue or not. As the tank used is not what typically comes with the Buick kit.

I never suggested you apply 12 volts directly to the pump. What you did was load your IC full of alcohol.

I wish you would take the time when working on the car and give me a call. That way it minimizes your down time and gets you back to enjoying the car. This gets back to the tank issues which havent been discussed. And the email sent over the MAP sensor test procedure.

I'm eager to help anyone who has an issue, and sometimes.. some problems cannot be addressed over the internet in a speedy process as wished.

If you wish to overnite the controller that is your call. I will test it and get back to you.

Russ.. pump can be mounted upside down/rite side up. It doesnt care. Altho it does care that the height of the tank is higher than the pump.

Cars when modded will have issues. They all do. And the more extensive the mods are... the more issues. Its part of the love/hate relationship we share with these Buicks. Its bad enough trying to keep a 20 year old car with 20 year old electronics running reliably stock.

It was the weekend so I was not going to call you due to it not being shop hours and your free time away from stuff like this.

Bottle line is higher than the pump. I had done over 3 WOT blasts at 20psi and 18psi and am not sure how an air pocket could still exsist in the line after probably 5 to 10 seconds of it pushing at 100psi.

Bulb lights up but who's to say the relay box is giving the pump any power?
I now know the pump works and that the map sensor and brain are doing its job by seeing 6psi. Since the relay box is wired into the brain the whole thing has been sent back to you to check out.

UPDATE

After getting the brain back asap from Julio, I reinstalled it because it tested out just fine. Julio included an extra pump but I had done enough diagnostic tests to figure out that it was pushing alky, pumps going back but thanks for making sure this was going to work out this time around.

I went out and did some runs again and on the scanmaster watched the Pulse Width window and there was the problem, the 36lbers are toast.

Upped the line pressure from 42 to 48psi and millivolts are a tad over 800 in 3rd gear and I am at 20psi with the initial back to 11:30 and gain knob at 1 oclock.

I somehow ran over the 36lbers pretty easily so the 60's I bought on sale from FTS a few months ago are going in this weekend. With the new chip and a fuel filter, I expect big boost runs this weekend.

Thanks again Julio, we had a few issues but it was all worth it in the end. ;)

Man dont mention it. You have to be patient with these cars sometimes.. and the more mods and changes.. the more attention they sometimes need.

Keep a level head and all will come to pass.

If ya need tuning help.. drop me a call..
