GM forges future for BUICK

DETROIT (AP) - General Motors Corp. said Tuesday it is bringing back its "Super" line of Buicks, about five decades after the premium models last were sold, as it makes broader efforts to reinvigorate the 104-year-old brand in the U.S. and grow in China.

Just peachy! Buick will add the Super moniker to the FWD Lucerne and price it at $40,000. At the same time, Hyundai will be debuting the RWD Concept Genesis which is expected to be priced starting at less than $30,000.

The Concept Genesis, which will make its world debut at the New York International Auto Show, is equipped with a V-8 engine delivering more than 300 horsepower and a body that Hyundai describes as stiffer than the BMW 5 Series or Mercedes E-Class cars to provide fine handling. It goes from zero to 60 mph in less than six seconds.
