GM TECH 1 for tuning?

i have access to a Tech 1 scan tool at the GM dealership i work at can i fine tune my GN with this? if so what should i look for? any ideas on wehre to go with this? thanks

I have used the Tech 1 for my 87. It shows everything except degrees of knock. It will only show yes or no for knock signal. I just tuned for zero knock signal to be on the safe side. You need a cartridge that covers the 85 model year.
