GN Motor In A Dodge Conquest ?

Anybody ever seen a GN motor in a Dodge Conquest? Pix? or Links to a web sit that has done it. Thanks In Advance.

I've seen a Conquest with a GN motor. Looks wicked! I could not believe this car when it took off. The hissing sound of the turbo Buick didn't fit this car. I still thought it was a cool hybrid.

I saw a feature car in PHR like that I believe. A Starion or a Conquest. It was top freakin notch.

There was a black Conquest that was done up VERY nice. I saw him selling it on GNttype.org. The GN motor was out of it. I think car had a roll cage. He wanted about $25,000 just for the rolling chassis! It was a beauty! Car was for sale about six months ago. Motor and car were for sale seperately, or as a package. I think that same guy also had an Indy motor for sale.

We have an 1987 Conquest for the same purpose, we test fitted the block& trans, so far the biggest problem is the steering shaft/box clearance , the box may have to be relocated or the motor has to be pushed forward, which is not a good idea.Also you may need custom headers and a cross over pipe coming around the front of the motor. Other than that everything else can be worked out.

I looked into this years ago....the steering and headers clearance is a HUGE problem with that car. The one that was for sale that was done so nice was a tube frame car.....I have yet to see a straight up transplant, because of the steering.

Please Do. After looking & trial fitting a 3.8,looks like its gonna need a rack & pinion conversion. Amoung other things. Please let me know if you find anything out.
