You're tellin me that a turbo buick can't be made to handle great in the curves? On the contrary.
On a DEDICATED race track, like you see on that car show Top Gear, the Porsche may have a slight advantage, but on the everyday twists and turns that us normal people face each day on our everyday streets? I could build a GN to just ANNIHILATE a porsche. I'd be willing to put a good amount of money on it too. AND still be one FIFTH the price of the Porsche too. AND be cheaper to maintain.

(Not to mention the 'cool' factor. Porsches around here are a dime a dozen. (birmingham/grosse pointe. Mr. Licht can attest to that) You pull up to a light in a 911, noone cares. Pull up to a light in a Grand National, and people wanna know what's up. Let me tell you that heads are 'a turnin my friend)

I will take the Porsche over my Buick. Most guys don't buy exotics to turn them into 1/4 mile rat cans. They look sexy, sound tough and attract a lot of attention. Sure I get eyes looking when I drive my Buick, but that is from another car enthusiast, which are older dudes. Drive an exotic and watch women of all ages staring and making comments. Who cares how fast they are, or if you can blow their doors off. An exotic sits in a league all by itself.

I don't know where you are but around here, they turn NO heads whatsoever. Most chicks don't even care what kind of car you drive, unless it's a corvette, mustang or camaro. And at that, only younger gold diggin girls care. Besides, I think most of us aren't in it for the women, we're in it for the speed or collectibility.
How's that girl in your Porsche gonna react to you, when you're up to a red light, and a grand national blows your doors off. All of a sudden you're not going to look 'too cool' any more lol. Remember, racing counts. A woman that's in your ride just because it's a Porsche is going to be fake and superficial. She's going to be lookin' for this sort of stupid stuff. And when you lose a race, you lose face to these types of women.
