I have replaced and rebuilt a ton of power antennas on Buick "G" bodys but never on a GNX, heres my first, no big deal, loosen the bottom of the fender and remove it. Wrong! ASC riveted and bonded the inner and outer fender together. Other than the obvious and take the fender completely apart and seperate them. Anyone have some hands-on knowledge about this. Thanks.

e-mail dennis kirban @ www.denniskirban@yahoo.com and ask him for the "1984-1987 turbo regal power antenna removal and installation guide" this book covers the gnx project in exact detail... written by his friend pete serio a huge talent with these cars. i think its 10 or 20 bucks,,,good luck

FWIW & IMHO:
Don't the vents have to come off or apart in addition to everything else?
