I was meeting up with some friends in Waldwick on Sunday and saw a GN coming at me on Sheridan Ave. right near the Waldwick/Saddle River border, very nice little town BTW.

It was about 8:00 am and as the car got closer I saw the GNX grille badge and flares. As it passed, I looked in my rearview and saw the tell-tale rear suspension.

It's not too common to see a GNX driving around at 8 in the morning. Maybe he was going out for a coffee and the Sunday Star Ledger.

i see one in hawthorne which is close to waldwick every once in a while in the early am. got to be the same car, but have no clue who it is.:D

>>Maybe it was Mike K out enjoying his recovered GNX.

I wish, but thanks for the thought! :) Lately it's enough to see it present and accounted for in the garage! :D

I've been wrangling with the insurance co to get it fixed. Hopefully within the next week or two...

What kind of trouble are they giving you?

Hey Mike, is it anyone you know?

I had a friend that lived in Wharton that had a GNX, but that was a while back.

No, it doesn't sound like someone I know, but it this immediate area does have an unusual concentration of GNX's. I know of one in a garage with 200 miles, but it doesn't go anywhere. Another 2 which are modified for handicapped use, another which I sometimes see parked (in a location I won't disclose :( ) , one which got wrecked, and another I've seen driven by a woman, which I'm pretty sure is not the parked one I just mentioned, but may be the wrecked one. So with mine, that's 6 or 7.

Steve- Not to hijack the thread, but you asked... ;) there are 2 insurance co's involved- auto and homeowners. Auto is just taking a long time, but I think I'll get a fair settlement from them. Homo's covers the personal items in the car, but there are gray areas which neither wants to cover. For example- car cover, CD's, GNX memorabilia, car duster, detailing supplies...
