they probably sold them so cheap because they somehow ended up with 27 sets of 231 Buick valve cover gaskets, when they'll probably take 10 years to sell that many. probably just clearing up space on the shelf for aluminum pedal covers or something else that will actually sell.
they are in my trunk. but just go to the service counter. tell them cork valve cover gaskets for 87 regal - 3.8 turbo and they will find them - it was something like MB-250251 but dont hold me to that, going off memory.
Reusable gaskets- bah- I'm told cork is best for turbo cars from the local GN specialist.

Which pep boys did you goto? Im in boothwyn Im heading up onto 202 in a few mins so Im gonna swing by talleyvill and see what they say...
at pepboys actually in philadelphia, since that is where i live, i went to 3 different ones and got a set from each but the last store i went to the guy said, "i can get them from the warehouse in indiana for you at this price" - "i said how many they got in stock " he replies, "24 pairs" i said "ORDER THEM ALL" whipped them out

Haven't been in peep boys since I read how they treated their employees who were reservists....They **** on them.
Hmm, guess i just got lucky. but i got 27 pairs at 80 cents each.. Like i said, i went to 3 pep boys in philly bought 1 pair from each store, Bustleton & Cottman,Roosevelt blvd & RedLion and Roosevelt blvd and Adams ave. And the guy at the Redlion Rd one ordered the remaining 22 from the warehouse in indinia for me at 80 a cents a pair.. i dont see how they are 80 cents from there warehouse and more money at the stores..

I told you to post AFTER I cleaned out all the Pep Boys! people from autozone took over pepboys. and is getting rid of the scooters and other crap and getting more parts in the stores. about time so there is alot of stuff that is "discontinued" but they are getting rid of it at cut throat prices to make room in the wharehouses for real parts.
