Going from lock up to non lock up torque converter?

Other than a different torque converter, what else is needed to do to the transmission in order to run a non lock up torque converter?

get a n/l kit for the trans. most vendors sell them. Drop the pan pull a valve out and put a new one in. Pretty easy IMOP

You also need to get the check ball out of end of the input shaft...maybe that doesn't have to be done but I was told to do it...by a tranny guy
