hey julio i think i may need to go to a smaller nozzle. the m15 is just spraying was to much.. i tried backing it off with the gain knob still rich.. i'm pulling a ton of fuel on the maft-pro and it's scaring me. i don't want to over advance my timing..

where can i pick up a m10 nozzle? if i can get one locally that would be great, if not i'll just pick one up from you.

Where is your turnon point? Otherwords what boost pressure does the kit fire? Sounds really wierd to me. I have a high fueling chip that really dumps the fuel & even at low boost setting 20 psi & the alky at the typical 4-5 turnon & 3 bar map sensor the tune is good. Sounds like other issues you might be having :confused:
 
well this is on my supra... turn on is still at the setting that i recieved the kit. i think it's 4psi or some. here is the deal. i'm running a walbro fuel pump, fuel damper bypassed, 550cc injectors and a aermotive 1:1 AFPR.. at like 24psi of boost my fuel injectors are seeing like 65psi of pressure and on top of that the methanol.. over 5000rpms i'm in the low 10's.

i'm already pulling -25% fuel out of the maftpro. i did 484rwhp@520rwtq today at 21psi.. these numbers are low as i'm flooding the motor. i tried lower my base fuel pressure, however this is taxing my idle.

i feel that a m10 nozzle would be better for my application, or, ditch the regulator and run the stock one. that way i can back off the gasoline and add more meth..

i'm really at a loss. on race gas i can dial her in 11.5 accross the board and make more hp. i know this is user error and i'm trying to get it dialed in..

also this may sound strange, but i just noticed that my activation light turns on with the kit on or off. at 4psi the L.E.D comes to life and i also noticed that it's doesn't get brighter as the boost increases..

maybe that is just the LED. i'm tempted to clip my DMM to the fuse box and watch voltage as i boost..

LED's dont vary in intensity. They are either on or off.

Lamps with filaments can have their intensity varied.

This is the problem with piggyback setups. I would tell you to bump up your turnon to like 8 PSI and drop back the Initial a tad.. like 1/32 of a turn. That will drop alky volume.. but careful pulling alky.. you have to watch detonation.. and you need to look at HP numbers and not assumme.. I dont care what your wideband says :redface: Dont get caught up in you have to tune to "X" air fuel ratio.

Call me and I can send out the smaller nozzle and sealing washer.. no biggie.. but if the car is making 450 RWHP.. it can support an M15 easy.. now your fuel injection setup is another issue..
 
julio, i took your advice and turn up the turn-on point and backed off the inital a bit.. seems to be getting better. it's not dumping crazy amounts anymore.. it's getting much better.

been running 22psi, motor sounds good, feels good and it's not breaking up. pulled 2 plugs and they look great. still no way to monitor knock; but i'm still keeping rich to be safe.

been seeing 11.0's on the AFR; dipping slightly into the 10's in the upper rpms.. i have the gain knob turned 3/4 on.
