I was on my way work this morning and passed a roll-back with a salvage sign on the side. Riding on the back was a 71 or 72 Cutlass. I rolled down the window and asked the guy if he was taking it to the crusher. He said yes and no one wanted it. I asked if he thought about putting it up on E-bay, he said he doesn't have the time to wait. The crusher would give him a $100, TODAY!
I'm not an old Olds guy, but I about got sick.
It was a very straight car, with only surface rust from where the vinyl top was ripped off. It sucks that all cool old cars can't be saved.:frown: If I didn't have so many Buicks around it would have been worth $100 for me to have it dumped at my place. But the wife would have killed me!
If I would have had the time, I would have talked to him more about looking for a 70-72 GS/Skylark for me.
