I pulled the drive side stock header off this week and welded up a major crack on the back tube, they had been weld once before I bought them. After I weld it up I was looking inside the tube and saw how it was constructed. It looked terribly restrictive with all of the exposed flanges and poor factory welds. It got me thinking what I had heard in the past….”factory headers are good into the tens” After my inspection I am surprised I am running 11s with them. What the best deal out there on new headers that won’t hurt my spool and might improve my 60ft time of 1.6 sec.
