Hey Guys, anybody running this slick, need to know about fittment. It has a 12.4 section width , 11'' tread width.

Nice tire but discontinued, good luck finding them!

I tried to get them, was impossible , this was last year, maybe they brought them back in. They will fit perfect on a 8.5" rim with 3.5 BS

I was planing on using them with a 10'' wheel with 5'' or 5.5'' backspacing, i alreadly knotch the frame, and will mini tub it also. I also rolled the outer lip but not sure how close it will be to the lip.

I bought a set last year. Not on a buick though so I can't answer your question..

For the money, I'd go with the M/T 28x10.5

:)

If you have the space run it with the 5.5 BS. Just be prepared to move the rim out with a spacer. The 5 in BS will put it to close to the fender lip. If you need spacers make sure you go with the stock car type solid alum or steel spacers. Im sure that at this point you have the extended studs so you will be totaly safe.

No matter what is a crap shoot. Its all going to depend on too many things.
I run a 5 in BS 10in rim with a 28x10.5 ET Drag

I tried on a 15x10 with a 5.5 backspacing with 28.5x10.5 Phoenix slick, 10.6 tread width, 13.0 section width. I had a 1/2'' clearance between tire & frame rails. The goodyears have a 11'' tread width, 12.5 section width, that's why i was going with the 6'' backspacing to try to clear the outer lip from the 11'' tread width. I should have just a little bit more space to play with, with the smaller sidewall 12.5'' with the goodyear compaired to the Phoenix's 13.0 sidewall and if i need a spacer i'll go fron that. What do you think.

You didnt mention the 6 in bs rim before but it will only work one way. If the frame notch at the back towards the tailpipes is laid inwards. As you can see that part of the frame even after notching has less clearance than the front. With out further frame mods and the minitub you have already planned it wont work in my opinion.
