I am about to buy some new slicks. Which is better Goodyear or Hoosier. I plan on getting 28 by 9's. What I really want is a TRUE 28 by 9 Dot tire but no one makes it. Thanks:)

Goodyear will be a better tire but the sizes are very limited. IMO go with MT ET Drag's.

tire

Goodyear, by all means, they will last you a lot longer. Goodyear has a stiff sidewall--for a heavy car. Anything over 3000 is considered heavy.

I can tell you I have over 100 passes on my MT 28X9 ET Drags and they are not half worn....very little burn out required...60' times in the 1.4x range......I expect they will dry up before I can wear 'em out

I had the M/T drags in 26 by 10's they were great, but the 28 by 9's in the M/T's are not 28'' tall. I think they are 27'' tall. I am wanting a true 28 by 9. That is the only thing that is holding me back from getting them. Thanks.
