Well got the kit on and working, Without the alky, 93 octane the truck run 13.19, Made a run with it at 12 o'clock it run 13.60, Turned it off and it run 13.40, Back on 13.47, Back off 13.40, So it run slower with alky and runs slower after using alky, It will be awhile if ever I get to try anything, Hit a deer on the way home, Was running about 60 and it was like it just droped in front of the truck, Didn't even have time to get off the gas

Glad to hear all the pieces are there and operational.

Now you'll need to have them retune with the alcohol since its a fuel. In other words if the shop tuned the truck to lets say 11.5:1 AFR, you switch the meth on.. it will go down to 9.5:1 AFR.. doing so will kill power. So what is done, fuel is pulled out of the pcm to bring the air fuel up to 11.5:1 with the alcohol spraying.

So spraying alcohol on the truck without a retune, it should be slower. Thats good.. since we know its working.

Now switching the alky off wont affect your 93 runs. Also when looking at time slips, look at the MPH portion for horsepower. As the "et" has traction involved. Big difference between 13.1@100 and a 13.1@120. Also looking at the MPH pickup past the 1/8 to 1/4 tells a lot. Example 90-100 or 85-110. Engine temp needs to be documented as well. Running at 160 vs 220.

When you get it back together and to a dyno for the retune.. have the shop call me and i'll help with the tuning procedures. You will see +HP doing so.

Good luck on the deer thing.. I know the trucks can be an issue getting parts for

Well for one thing I have to run the traction control on all the time and that bogs the engine 3 to 4 time on a run,If it isn't totaled it will take a while to get it back running, I have my Grand National in now letting them go through everything, It was built as a street strip show car about 9 years ago so it needs some upgrades, Has stage 2 Alum heads, 1.65 roller rockers, te 61 turbo with I think 42.5 injectors, 7th and 8th injectors,3200 stall, Headers and so on, The car has 7,000+ miles, It run a few times last year and found out it had a bad plug wire and a bad throttle body, Headers leaked and a few other problems but it run 11.30 at 119, So far I have added a 4inch air intake with LS1 trans, New gaskets, Heads, Intake, I will put the bigger throttle body, Maybe bigger injectors, Took the 7 th and 8th injectors off, Most likey go with alky and get the right chip

The Buick is a piece of cake for alky...

We can pull most of the stuff of the SSR and transplant it over.. if you decide to do that, let me know. I will help anyway I can.
