I have modified my 87 GN with the TE-44, 009 inj. xp-fuel pump, valve springs, cold air kit system, ATR 3"downpipe, 2 1/2 dual exhaust, Red's 93 chip and a shift kit. The best I've ran was 13.4. What I'm I missing?

Race chip, high boost, traction/good launch. Like Mark said, I have found the launch to be be most effective in reducing ET. What is your mph also?

Mark H., I am sending your Zaino MO out today. Tim Roark

My traction is week, I have stock rims with 225/60 my 60ft. was 2.1 and about 100mph. I need to go low 12's, at least, where can I go next to improve?

A well known fact in drag racing since the first days....

TRACTION = ET
HP = MPH

For the most part that is.

You could be making 450 RWHP and running down the track at 115mph, but if you can't hook at the launch your ET will still suck :mad:

It's all about HOOOKING. And street tires AINT going to do it. period, no way, nada, zipola.

Another thing you have not mentioned are any scantool numbers. Each of these cars has been different in my experience. You can set them both up exactly the same and still not get the same. I can tell you this. Youe basic combo with drag radials running easy 1.9 60' was netting me 12.65 consistantly. My only difference was MSD 50's rather than 009's but this should not be an issues. 009's are very good injectors for your setup. I would care to say that it is a tunning issue. Need some numbers from scan, time slip and boost. This will go along way in helping you get your car tuned. Also where are you located? Maybe some turbo guys can help. We love tunning cars.

You are killing me Dave LOL! Good to have a smile first thing in the morning.:)

Dave is right. If you want good times, purchase some slicks crank the boost and have fun.:D

I stay in Detroit MI. the place where people recommended me to was a place called Aggressive Performance in Roseville. I need help I need another place to go. Do you know any other place where I can go to get a better performance? Need to go 12's....

I don't know much about cars period but from what I can remember the guy at the shop said 16 # I believe. Ramchargers, Which location? I have no scantools or anything, if something is wrong with the car I have to take into the shop. I'm willing to try other shops around or someone who works on these cars.. I'm so desprite that yesterday I seen a nice GN just by the looks of her she looks fast, If there wasn't too much traffic at that time or I would of turned around to stop the guy to ask questions.

Add:

Race chip
Race Gas
Right side airbag @ 20 psi
20-22 psi of boost
275/60 BFG Drag radials or 28" ET streets.

Your ET will drop by more than 1.0 seconds and maybe more than 1.5 seconds.

Low 12's will be a cakewalk.

You will never, ever get the full potential out of the car unless you learn about it and tune it yourself.
The guy at the shop told you what boost youre running? What does your boost gauge say!
You need a laptop and turbolink asap, so you can record your runs
You are 6mph behind me and my car is stock, so you definitely need to turn up the wick, but it is impossible to do that unless YOU know what youre doing and have a scan tool to monitor it

Yeah that time sounds about right for 16 lbs of boost. Your not even using your turbo. Get some race gas, chip, tires, scantool and crank it up. And get a real boost gauge before you blow that damn thing up!
