Anyone know if there is a chance that a 4bbl Q-jet from a 307 olds will fit a 4.1 intake?

Not sure if there is a difference in CFM between the carbs, is it possible to bolt the 307 carb to the 4.1 intake?

Cool!

do you know if the carbs are the same...or is the 307 going to flow more CFM? also do they share the same vacumm ports and such?

Most q-jets look alike and are very simular to each other except for cfm.I'm not sure what the cfm of the olds would be.you would have to get a carb no. and look it up.that being said it would prob.work fine.q-jets are very universal, they can adapt very easily because they are a vac.secondary carb.the vac.ports are usally close from one q-jet to another, there will be differences but porb.not many.the only thing on an olds q-jet they used the heat from a heater hose and a heat riser in the intake to open the choke.some did some didn't.either way that can be converted to a electric choke easily.as long as the carb is good it shouldn't be a problem to use.
