I have an '87 Turbo-T, with the gray interior. The plastic case which holds the computer (in the kick-panel) has broken, so I ordered a new one. Alas, it is more of a dark blue than a gray. Question: can you suggest a paint color and brand, that would match my lightish gray plastic cover, for my gray interior?? Thanks gang. eden@es.marywood.edu

Go to a auto paint store and get SEM in a spray can. They will have the exact color you need.:)

The interior color is on the RPO label and any paint store can mix up the right color of vinyl trim paint from that code (I use Dupont).

A pint is enough to paint just about everything. Make sure you add a clear coat or the stuff will wear off. This should give you an exact match. It also means that you don't need to care what color the replacement parts are since you can paint them the exact color.

A final note, vinyl paint is thin enough to not fill in the texture (which is good) so two coats are usually needed for coverage.

In the end, the parts look perfect.

Make sure you clean them with a vinyl prep cleaner first. I use Prep-Sol Vinyl prep.
