Ground Strap

I noticed a ground strap hanging down from my rear driver's side frame with a slip on clip. Where does this attach? Looks like it would reach to the lip on the gas tank. Thanks, R.B.

Correct it is for fuel ground or "anti-spark ground"
Typically this ground type is used for the filler neck.
