Ground Stretcher

Why isn't there vendor that makes a ground stretcher kit like the ones for 86/87 TRs? Has anyone experimented and made their own? I was thinking about uprading my grounds. Any ideas on how I should go on about this? The reason why I'm asking this is because I installed a ground strecher kit on my friends prelude. it looks pretty nice and all, I think i could do better and spend much less than he did on his kit. I think it costed him some where in the $90 range I think he could have gotten away with copying the setup and using Monster Wires I know where all the grounds are located, How can I improve them? Or does someone already make a stretcher kit for our hot-airs? Or can you use the ones meant for our intercooled counter-parts?

as long as you clean them they should be fine..

but im pretty sure you could make a "kit" with spare parts of an amp install kit, like you said. go for it let us know how it goes.

I just took all mine off and used a dremel to freshen up the connections. Gets rid of all that corrosion built up over the years.

Then I used dielectric grease on all the connections after I was done and hooked up back up. Several under the hood around the fenders and a few on the heads / block.

I brightened my headlights too....

Other TR guys around here have got a kick out of the BIG braided ground strap I used on the back of my engine from driver's side head to firewall. Found it in the "Help!" section at AutoZone.
Got one on my Suburban and my brother's '87 T-LTD as well. Looks really cool, and if any ground is going to do the job its this one. Shouldnt have any lack of good ground with this thing .
