Ground wire? not connected

as i am prepping my car for paint i'm finding all sort of things.

This wire runs the length of the car and ends up in the truck on the drivers side. I goes thru a hole and was just dangling there. It is a thick gauge copper wire so it appears to be a ground of some sort. By the corrosion of the exposed copper it has been there not connected to anything for a while.

Anyone know what it is for?

My first guess would be an old power feed for an amp..

the weird part is it comes above the floor pan all the way back. I'll have to check where it comes from

i remember 2 grounds at the rear of the car. 1 is for the headlight harness and screws into the trunk floor by where the harness grommet opening is on the driver side. And the other ground is at the fuel tank strap for the fuel pump.

i must have been an amp wire. the other end was under the dash not connected.

that wire I believe is not factory but installed more then likely by the previous owner ..
