I know this is crazy...but I was just curiuos how hard it would be. If it is possible at all. I have heard about people putting Hemi engines in bugs, so could this be even easier? Any help and info would be great!! Thanks guys!

if the back is that wide then im sure it could be rigged up. I doubt painless or anyone makes a harness for it, I'm sure Spina can do it for $$$

If you want to try an LS1 that would be easier and mount it in the front:)

We do quite a few conversions, right now a LS1 in a 61 Impala

If you want to make a Fast bug drop a rotor motor in it. Still have to worry about h2o but there is an adapter plate for it to bolt in.

Been there done that......Turn it 10,000 on a bridgeport and let it fly...Oh yea, you better consider a better tansaxle.

I would put my money in something worth a little more, I have been there and done that to, VW's suck! at least for me :-)
