some of you guys get too caught up in specs sometimes
the TE-61 is NOT the same as the PT61...two totally different compressor wheels...the new 61 is a Garrett GT comp wheel used on the GT35R ball bearing turbo...according to the compressor map on that turbo and from my personal experience, that turbo is most efficient (almost 80%) at 20-22 lbs of boost....it's still nearly 76-78% efficient at around 25 lbs...then it starts to fall off...but it's nearly 70% at 30 lbs...plenty of sport compact guys out there run this compressor up to 35 lbs all day long and they are making nearly 600 hp to the tires...so it's a really good compressor wheel...the TE61 wheel doesn't even come close...
