What is the difference between these two turbos? Supposedly the 6765 is replacing the 6776, but why? On full throttle speeds website it says that the 6776 is a mid 10 sec turbo, while it says the 6765 turbo is a high 9 second turbo, while the 6765 produces less power.

Is the price on the 6765 cheaper than the 6776 is? Can we still get the 6776? What are the advantages/disadvantages of both?

Oh yeah, and do you guys think we can get a sponsor on the board here to give the members a HUGE deal on a 6776 ir 6765 if so many people buy a turbo? I know what dealers/distributors pricing is.

The 6776 is a Garrett turbo that Precision Turbo packages to fit on the Buicks.
To my understanding (which has been wrong) The 6765 uses another manufacturer's turbo or parts that Precision Turbo packages and may piece together to fit on the Buicks.

I am not sure that back to back testing has been done with these two turbos on our cars. The new wheels are supposed to be really nice and incorporate some extended tip technology. These are not the Borg Warner/Airwerk Forced Inductions units that Jose sells. Those are another option.

That is probably clear as mud. :D

The 6765 would be a part of Precision Turbo's new "Boosted" line of turbochargers which are a better performing unit than their predecessor's. The second two numbers in their new nomenclature stands for the measurement of the exducer of the turbine wheel (just like the first two are the measurement of the compressor wheel). It may take a little getting used to, but in the end it is much more informative!

I plan on picking up one of their newer line for my brother this spring:)

I ordered one (6765)

...Mike said they're waiting on the H covers to be shipped to them before these are going out. Took advantage of the Christmas sale they ran:D

and here I thought I was sold on a 6776. Man this stuff is changing fast lately.
