Maybe clock the compressor housing, get an 87 upper intake plenum and put it on backwards and make an adaptor to make compressor connect to plenum, or Jerryl are you changing over to IC setup?

That is one option.
The answer is "No".

I have a couple of 86 intakes also. It would be possible to move the turbo directly over the open plenum and fab a top piece with a nipple and connect with hoses and clamps. 2nd option would be to do a V3 style option. Rotate the turbo 90 degrees forward and also tie into the plenum. One thought would be to take a Duttweiler intercooler neck and weld it to a flat plate and bolt it to the plenum. The turbo will connect to the Duttweiler neck. Last option, which I am doing, moves the throttle body off the turbo and moves the throttle body to the front. The turbo piping will have to be routed to the throttle body now at the front of the intake.

Would this work.

Cool. There are additional options. Lol.

I like this style.

If someone still has ANY pictures of the V3 intake, please post them. drew Carlton ran 11.90's with it. I would be logical to take a 86 intake and make a plenum like the V3 had. My plan using the 86 intake allows me to run hot or cold.
