back of the Plenum? I have been thinking of places that would hide the install like on the sides or back of the IC.

Any cool ideas?

I would think it would be need to be somewhere in the upstream so it would distribute to the cylinders evenly. If it was put in the back of the plenum the incoming velocity would make it impossible for the alcohol to mix with the air and the two front cylinders probably wouldn't get much, where the two back would probably get the most.

Hot Airs put it somewhere on the plenum. You would have to put it right behind the TB facing upstream

Not sure what nozzle you are using, but I once spot faced, drilled and tapped the bottom/back of a TB to mount an NOS nozzle for alky use. It went right through where the TB coolant passage is, that is why I had to bore it down (spot face) through the coolant passage. Ran the alky lines under the upper plenum from the back of the motor. Seemed to work good, and was definitely out of sight! I'm sure and SMC nozzle would be too big for this area and placement is critical as my throttle blade would darn near hit it at WOT.

Mark H. has his on the intercooler neck.

The cold air kit guy, stealth alky. installation and lots of chrome.

Might want to check his car website for pics. of his install as I know he has some.

Oh yeah... guess I could have mentioned that, too! I did install two SMC nozzles on the outlet neck of my WE4's Mark Jackson 17 row IC. Did it underneath the outlet neck, but after mounting, I see they would have been hidden a little better on the back side. Was really a PITA to tighten the two nuts on the inside for the nozzles 6" down into a 2.5" opening! Took about an hour just to mount them in there... that was after all the drilling and stuff! I might still have some pics somewhere, if anybody is interested.

You got it Dan! Click on my web page in my sig below, then click on the small engine picture link to go to my second page. I just uploaded two pics of the nozzles... they are at the bottom. I couldn't make it EASY, now, could I?! ;)

I've been machining a thread on the jet end of the SCM nozzles and installing them externally. A lot easier than from the inside which is difficult, as you mentioned, and I can change a jet in a couple of minutes.
