Smoke leak detector - where?

Going to check for vacuum leaks with a smoke detector. Will check at the MAF pipe for one place. For another, I’m thinking of using the extra port I have on the vacuum block for vacuum brakes. Would that work? Any other suggestions for other places to check? Thanks

That will work. You need to cap off your MAF pipe/sensor. I typically use the MAP hose to the vac block. If you have a vac leak the smoke will find it. I typically see the throttle body shaft seals leak alot.
