Has anyone toyed with intakes from OTHER 3.8 engines?

Right, but do you think the stock turbo would fit behind it (with piping for a front mount)??

You could mount a throttle body on the front of the intake, and then clock the compressor housing around so that it points at an upward angle, where you could then fab a pipe to go up/around the plenum and then to the IC.

Any updates to how these FWD intakes are working?

I'd like to use one on a intercooled hot air motor we're putting together. The turbo will be located off to the side like a '86-87 motor.

What would be the prefered intake to get (make, model year)?
