Go to www.sprintusers.com and use the Focus Uploader. This free utility allows you to send any image to a SPCS Vision Phone.

Also, www.3gupload.com is a multi carrier web site that allows you to choose from their backgrounds and ringers or upload your own. It used to be donation only, nowadays it may be required that you pay, I'm not sure.

If the file expires on the server it will get deleted. This is to prevent my stuff from piling up. I am leaving right now and have a night full of of errands and such to run.

Sprint Phones use JPG or PNG for wallpaper and MIDI or QCP for ringers.

Sounds more like what the game formats are. I got a guy at work looking for software to do the same thing with T-mobile phones.

That helps, .gif is an image format limited to 256 colors. The upside to it is the smaller file size. I will make another one as a .gif file tomorrow and post up when its done. Then if you want to PM me your number I will try to send it to you and see if it works.

Shane, thanks for the info. My php script is running really messed up so I am going to use that Focus uploader to send this out to people.

Hopefully it works.

I sent to both people that sent me their number. Let me know if the T-mobile one failed, I will look for another service to send images to T-mobile phones.
