Header panel repair???

The panel has a piece missing along the pass side of the grille. I'm considering getting a broken header , cutting out the piece I need, and doing some glue repair.
The holes in the top are also cracked out, from a previous attempt at filling them in.

AIRC, the material is not fiberglas, but??, and requires a different bonding material. Yes, no??
What does one use to do it correctly??

NE1 that might have a piece of the header, I'd be in the market for it!

CHUCK, IF IT IS A FACTORY,GM HEADER I THINK THEY ARE SMC. I HAVE REPAIRED HEADERS WITH "VETTE" PANEL ADHESIVE, AND HAD VERY GOOD RESULTS,THE KEY IS A GOOD BACKING OR REINFORCEMENT OF THE REPAIR.. WHAT PIECE DO YOU NEED(SHOW ME A PHOTO) I MAY HAVE THE PIECE YOU NEED..

Vette panel adhesive, it comes in 2 parts like a tube and a quart can, mix it together and magic. I think that I paid $16 from Key Stone automotive supplies. It was used on removing the emblem in the center of a regal headerpanel and to fuse a tiny hairline crack above the headlights. What's funny is one person can probably buy a package and 20 people can benefit from it. I think that I used 4 tablespoons of it.

Bill, thanks for the response... Wish I had known you had a hit out on Bambi's daddy. I could have called you!
He was standing on my driveway, just a couple nites ago. He had a couple g/f's with him..He looked tired. They were smiling!

The last time they showed up, [a couple mo's ago], there were at least 15. They are so acclimated to people, they just moved out of the way when I drove in...

No hurry on the part. I've got LOTS to do!
