I purchased an aftermarket headliner that has all the provisions cut out on the backside for whatever options may have been available for different vehicles that went into the headliner. I had a local body shop install it and they mistakenly cut out material where nothing goes on my GN. It's right above the B pillar, in front of the rear side glass. Apparently, they thought that was the placement for the coat hooks, which is actually to the back of the rear side glass. Now I have two big holes in a new headliner, and I can't seem to find any information on what would have gone there on another car. The only thing I can think of is maybe a grab strap. or those opera lights that some G Body's had. Does anyone have any info on this?

Here's an 2nd option...

Have them yank it and install a new headliner the correct way and not cut things out they don't know or guess is there. Take it from someone who finds these people all the time, just be nice and up front, they clearly made the error, they can take the time to fix their error for you vs you trying to find a way for them to get out of it.
