Last week I removed my heads to replace the gaskets because of a coolant leak into a few cylinders. The oddest thing happend to me when I went to pull the heads off......they literly peeled right off with out me having to beat on them or use a pry bar of any kind??? These were 15k mile original headgaskets.....I remember the first time I pulled the heads off my GN; talk about glued on there!!! I thought for sure they were going to be a whore having been on there since 1989, but they couldn't have come off any easier
To think that was the part I was dreading most....those damned header bolts are a royal PITA to get to without being double jointed!
