Need storage advice...

I'm buying a new house that has a heated garage. Is there an advantage to storing in a heated vs. non-heated garage in a Michigan climate? If so, what temperature should it be kept at during the winter months?

If your going to keep heated through winter I would say 70-75.
I only kick my heat on when I outside my garage isn't insulated that good so it's not worth it.

Burnout

I keep mine around 50 in the winter...turn it up when I'm out there working.
I wouldn't maintain it to high, you'll have moisture build up problems (cold out side, warm inside)

Speaking of moisture are any of you running a dehumidifier in the garage? I noticed there are many times when it feels very humid in the garage.

Listen These guys are Right!!!

I have a 4,400 org mi GN in heated garage.

Start it frequently last 3 winters. Bought car with 2,100 from Virginia.

Anyway notice condensation when started. Didn't think further than that. Until this summer.

Now needs new muffler and tail pipes. So I would listen.

HTH'ed.........
