Heater Motor.

I have an 81 Regal, and the heater box is open so very little hot air comes through the car. On the other hand the heater blower motor doesnt work, none of the wires leading up to the motor has power, i just dont know where to even start looking for a bad wire or where anything is. Any help is appreciated.

Start Simple

I am assuming you have a volt meter and not just a test light. Start with the simple things first. Check all the fuses and relays, if those are all good, make some jumper wires with alligator clips and test it jumping power straight from the battery to the blower motor.... if it blows air, its not the motor. Next check the continuity of the wires using the volt meter.

Im using a test light, it works if you jump it off the battery, but all fuses do work.
